StudySync is looking for a senior backend developer with strong JavaScript skills to join our engineering team.
We are an award-winning education company, developing products that leverage forward-thinking designs and technologies to engage students while providing teachers and administrators with a relevant, easy-to-use platform that delivers adaptable, dynamic curriculum solutions. Our profitable company was founded almost 10 years ago as a remote first company and has maintained that as we have grown to more than 100 employees.
You will be on a team building K-12 education software in JavaScript, for browsers and device apps primarily using React and Node. While mostly working on backend applications, you should also be comfortable collaborating with front-end engineers and contributing to front-end applications. You are comfortable working in a distributed software development team and have the communication skills necessary to thrive in that environment. You will also have prior experience building and scaling applications with examples you are proud to show off.
