Scalable Path is looking for a Remote Full Stack Wordpress Developer to join the team and work on a client project. This is a remote, part-time position (approximately 4 hours/day).

CLIENT COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

The client runs a website that allows people to create online resumes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The client has a Wordpress-based site that allows users to create an account and create beautiful resumes (CVs) for themselves. The client believes the previous developers did not build the app in the best way. Here are some of the things you may be working on:

- Reviewing the code to see how the site works

- Suggesting ways to improve the application code

- Creating new resume templates

- Creating a WYSIWYG editor

RELATIONSHIPS - WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH:

You will be working directly with the founder who is also the designer. The client is in the Australia/Sydney (+10:00) AEST time zone.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Excellent written and spoken English

- CSS

- JavaScript (jQuery and React)

- PHP (Wordpress)

- HTML

DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:

- Experience with modern web application frameworks like Symfony and Laravel

START DATE:

As soon as possible.

EXPECTED CONTRACT DURATION:

To be determined based on conversations around what can and should be done. Would assume ongoing work for the right candidate.

HOURLY RATE:

The pay rate for this role is from $20 to $45 USD per hour, depending on experience and capability.
