Responsibilities

We are building a small, brand new engineering team and need an experienced team lead to join us.

  • Guiding engineering work definition from product requirements to user stories

  • Providing technical leadership in software design and implementation

  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders and team members

  • Reviewing team members’ code for quality, maintainability, and best practices

  • Ensuring software changes meet quality standards and are bug-free

  • Collaborating with engineering manager &team on continuous process/standards improvement

  • Providing senior-level implementation for new features across the full-stack

  • Implementing full test automation for your work (we don’t have a QA team)

  • Owning projects from a technical perspective, from conceptualization to launch

  • Solving complex technical challenges

  • Researching, proposing, testing, and implementing new techniques and technologies

  • Collaborating with team members on design techniques and coding standards

  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders, engineering leaders, and team members to ensure the understanding of goals and reporting of status

Skills &Experience

  • 2+ years as an engineering team lead

  • 10+ years of full stack development 

  • 5+ years with C# and .NET/Core (ideally SaaS products)

  • 5+ years with front end JavaScript frameworks

  • Strong experience developing Web APIs

  • Strong SQL skills (SQL Server preferred)

  • Strong TDD and test automation skills (both unit and integration testing)

  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud

  • DevOps experience is a plus
