This is a 1 year full-time position. However, based on progress and needs, we will evaluate the possibility of extending this to a full-time permanent contract.
Wood Thilsted is a consulting engineering company specialised in geotechnical and structural engineering within the offshore and onshore renewable energy industry. We operate globally with projects located in Asia, North America and Northern Europe. We currently employ a staff of 90, working from offices in Denmark, Japan, Taiwan and the UK with continued growth foreseen in the near future.

We are searching for an ambitious IT graduate who can help us develop secure and innovative digital cloud solutions for file storage, file management and internal project management tools using a platform which can scale with our company’s continued growth.
The work location is not essential. However, given the location of our main offices, it could be ideal if you were willing to relocate to either Denmark or the United Kingdom.
Areas of responsibilities: As an IT graduate, your main assignment will be to help us drive the transition to the cloud, by developing cloud-based databases for document management, task management and other project management tools.
In your role you will: Work closely with an international team Contribute with ideas for cloud-based solutions Developing and programming Common Data Model (CDS) cloud-based databases Program Microsoft PowerApps tools and PowerAutomate workflows Design intuitive and efficient user interfaces Program and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud-based filesystems Help roll-out hardware and software systems for cloud-based file storage and management Help the transition to the new systems and services by developing internal training materials
Your background: You should preferably hold a master’s degree in the field of IT with knowledge of cloud computing, databases, user interface design and software development. You should thrive in an international environment and be fluent verbally and in writing in English. Moreover, you should have a strong drive and take initiative/responsibility for your assignments and you get motivated by creating excellent results through teamwork and supervision, while still being able to work independently.

It is essential that you have some knowledge of (and preferably some experience with): Cloud based databases (for example Common Data Service, SQL, or similar) User interface design Microsoft SharePoint Identity access management (for example Active directory) Microsoft Power Platform (Apps, Automate, BI) Programming (for example in Python, JAVA, or similar)
