We Work Remotely
Senior Product Designer
Remote - U.S. Based | Full-Time
$160,000 - $196,000, depending on experience and level of seniority

At FieldLevel, we build products that connect athletes and coaches to opportunities in sports. We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to collaborate closely with our product, engineering, and data teams to shape and refine the FieldLevel experience. This role is for someone who enjoys improving existing experiences and designing new ones, contributing to a structured design process that values iteration, clarity, and team input. While you won’t be solely responsible for defining design strategy or setting process, your work will play a key role in influencing how we approach design and evolve our product. If you’re passionate about building intuitive, impactful designs, have a love for sports, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do
  • Design user-centered solutions for real-world problems that athletes and coaches face.
  • Collaborate closely with your team—a product manager, engineers, and data analyst—to create thoughtful, well-crafted experiences.
  • Follow and contribute to an existing design process that values iteration, feedback, and team input.
  • Drive Product Discovery by engaging with customers to understand their needs, pain points, and aspirations through user calls, demos, surveys, and other identified methods. Leverage these insights to improve the product’s design and functionality.
  • Refine and enhance UI interactions to ensure usability and consistency across the platform.
  • Work within and improve upon our existing design system, ensuring consistency and scalability.
  • Pair with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation of your designs.
  • Ensure design quality through QA testing—review implemented designs, provide detailed feedback to engineers, and collaborate on refinements to ensure a polished final product.
  • Incorporate feedback from users and teammates to refine and improve solutions.
  • Balance speed and craft, knowing when to ship quickly and when to refine further.
  • UX writing - write clear, concise, and engaging copy that aligns with the brand tone and resonates with users.

What We’re Looking For
  • 8+ years of experience designing digital products, preferably in SaaS or marketplace-based platforms.
  • Strong interaction and UI design skills—you understand how to make interfaces clear, functional, and visually cohesive.
  • A team-first mentality—you enjoy working within an established process and collaborating with others to create the best possible outcomes.
  • A focus on usability—you prioritize clarity and simplicity over novelty.
  • Attention to detail—you refine the small things that add up to a great experience.
  • A strong body of work—whether through an up-to-date portfolio, Figma files, or case studies that showcase well-crafted interfaces, interaction design, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma preferred).
  • An ability to work with engineers to ensure designs are implemented as intended.
  • A comfort with iteration and feedback—design at FieldLevel is a collaborative effort.
