About the role

As Interim Head of Growth you will have a blank canvas to shape and develop our growth marketing efforts. We are just at the very beginning of our journey. We have our first set of paying customers, and now it’s time to start figuring out how to grow! 🚀

We have two priorities at present:
  • Acquire our first 100 customers.
  • Start building a world-class growth engine, to propel us to 1000 customers by the end of 2022, and beyond!
  • Firstly, we want someone to come in and help us to figure out 1-2 acquisition channels, to help us get to 100 customers. We anticipate that this first stage will not be especially elegant - scrappy email tests, paid tests, or other ideas from first principles. Anything that works and gets customer acquisition up and running is a win. We are not especially concerned with CAC in the short term… within reason 😊

    Secondly, we are looking for someone who can help us to build a world-class growth engine. Our average ACV is currently <$2,500, so we anticipate that content / SEO will be extremely important. Beyond that, we would love to figure out another 1-2 scalable acquisition channels, whatever they may be.

    We would love to find a growth person (or persons) to join us in a consulting capacity, with a view to having the right person join the team full time, further down the line. However, our first priority is getting to 100 customers. So, if you’re a consultant / freelancer who is interested in working with us in the short term but not the long term, that’s ok.     About you

    Essentials:
    • You’re a resourceful growth marketer with a bias for action.
    • You like to problem solve from first principles rather than relying solely on tried and tested playbooks.
    • You have helped to grow a B2B SaaS company in a marketing or growth role.
    • The avg. ACV of that B2B SaaS company was less than $10,000.
    • You have deep experience in one (or more) of the following:
      • Content / SEO
      • Paid / performance marketing
      • Outbound / email marketing
