Slides (slides.com) is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer
Slides is the place for creating modern presentations. After over 10+ years in business, we’re expanding the team to assist in new and existing product development work. We’re a small, lean team and work mostly asynchronously over Slack and GitHub.
We value opinionated developers who value shipping high quality web experiences that will perform well. For this role, we’re looking for an engineer who can operate on loose and changing requirements and is comfortable building modular components that can be reused and refined during the development process.
This would be a good fit for you if you’re experienced in the requirements below and excited to learn the “nice to haves”, too. Because we’re asynchronous (mostly) we value strong communication and the drive to operate mostly independently.
Requirements
- 3+ years of React and Next.js experience
- 5+ years of JavaScript development experience
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience with frontend styling libraries (Radix)
Nice to haves
- Experience with prisma and postgres
- Familiar with building AI tools such as any or all of:
- vector databases (chromadb, pinecone)
- LLM offerings (OpenAI, Anthropic, Lllama)
- tooling libraries (LlamaIndex, LangChain)
Availability
30-40 hours per week
Any timezone (we currently work in EST, CET and IST)
