🧘♀️ The primary purpose of this role is to:
- Translate UI design from Figma into React components for Gatsby and Next.js websites
- Integrate said websites with headless CMS's (Sanity, Prismic, Shopify, etc)
🥷 The successful candidate will:
- Have built at least a handful of completely custom websites - strictly no off-the-shelf themes (⛔️) - using static site generators (Gatsby, Jekyll, etc), frameworks (Next.js, etc) or monolithic CMS's (Craft, Shopify, WP, Silverstripe, etc)
- Have real world experience building with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, etc)
- Have an extremely good eye for detail and an ability to implement UI design with near pixel perfect precision
- Write clean, semantic HTML and utilise validation tools
- Have an advanced understanding of CSS and lots of experience with
- Responsive web-design
- Tailwind CSS
- BEM
- Have a great understanding of vanilla JavaScript including
- Consuming REST and GraphQL APIs
- Have experience bringing the web to life through JavaScript animation libraries (GSAP, Anime.js, Framer Motion, etc)
- Always maintain high quality work using testing and cross-browser compatibility tools
- Have knowledge of search and performance best-practices as well as rich snippets, Open Graph, ARIA, etc
- Stay up to date with other web standards and always choose the best tools and methods for the job
- Have experience working with Git and GitLab or GitHub
- Have a great attitude and enjoy plenty of downtime
