What You’ll Do:
- Define, develop, and execute email marketing plans, schedules and analytics for growing and optimizing email marketing programs.
- Provide an actionable plan for list management, email campaign project management, email optimization and testing
- Help define KPIs, reporting methods, and analyze campaign results and provide optimization recommendations to increase performance.
- ESP management and ensure optimal integration with all internal systems.
- Aid in defining customer segments and developing more personalized and engaging email templates.
- Partner closely with the merchandising team to ensure all deal emails are optimized and contain the most engaging products with the highest margins.
- Manage 3rd party relationship with email service provider including strategic planning sessions, day-to-day operations, deliverability, testing, reporting and optimization.
- Define best practices, set measurable objectives, ensure tracking/reporting capabilities, evaluate and reporting campaign results.
- Constantly monitor and evaluate new and innovative email trends
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- At least 3-5 years of relevant ecommerce email marketing &CRM experience.
- Must possess a strong background in identifying, implementing, managing, and analyzing high volume B2C email marketing programs.
- Strong project management and organizational skills for executing marketing campaigns
- Experience managing email creative process from start to finish (copywriting, briefing a graphic design team, etc.)
- Experience performing and analyzing A/B and multivariate tests to drive a data-driven email marketing strategy
- Knowledge of CAN-SPAM/anti-spam legislation
Education &Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of relevant ecommerce email marketing &CRM experience.
- Experience with Klaviyo is a plus
- Experience at a start-up is a plus
- Experience with a subscription business is a plus
- Experience with gamified marketing tactics is a plus
