We Work Remotely
Are you a passionate music fan and a thoughtful, vivid copywriter with marketing savvy and team leadership skills? Then this may be the job for you. The Coda Collection empowers fans and artists to experience music more deeply. We need your help to write for our brand and our bands. The Associate Creative Director (ACD) will help to lead integrated creative/marketing efforts and will assist in the management of the team.

As Associate Creative Director you will work to define, style, and execute creative visions for a variety of media and marketing platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong background as a copywriter defining brand voice. The ideal candidate is also social media savvy. We’re looking to create content that turns music stories into inspiring social conversations with audiences globally.

The Opportunity

The Coda Collection aspires to bring to life the stories that surround the songs that we love, and in turn deepen the connection between artists and fans. Across our Prime Video Channel, website, and iOS app, we have created a unique experience that combines a curated collection of 200+ films that bring to life the most meaningful moments in music and surrounds these films with immersive, custom editorial from the most talented music writers in the world.

Together, this experience aspires to do nothing less than transform the way in which people experience the power of music.  In just a matter of months, we are off to a fast start: rapid subscriber growth, hit films such as What Drives Us (directed by Dave Grohl), artist engagement from the biggest names in music (including members of The Who, Pink Floyd, and more) and top notch press coverage.

We are now seeking to build upon this momentum, and to help propel this growth we are looking for an Associate Creative Director (copywriter).

The Role

We are looking for an ACD with a unique passion for music and an instinct for writing engaging content. The full-time position will be focused on elevating our platforms by turning music films, music stories, and music events into dynamic digital content and social media, plus assisting the greater creative team in crafting and polishing our brand and reach. You will have the benefit of working on content for bands you know and love...or bands you will grow to love. Our office is "based" in Chicago (remote). We're ideally looking for a Chicago-based candidate, but are open to candidates in the broader US as well.
