The Position

In the newly created role of the Executive Assistant &Strategy Lead your focus will be on providing executive support to the General Manager of the Swedish affiliate of Novo Nordisk and its Leadership Team, as well as on leading strategic initiatives and execution follow-up (i.e. related to business planning and strategy).

As part of your main accountabilities, you will:

  • Drive and execute on strategic, analytical and/or cross organizational projects and initiatives on behalf of the Novo Nordisk Leadership Team in Sweden
  • Drive the affiliate strategy process which includes being responsible for ensuring consistent and relevant follow-up and discussion of business priorities in the management team
  • Support the Leadership Team members in functional strategy development
  • Effectively plan Leadership Team meetings with strong decision material
  • Provide relevant executive support for General Manager and Leadership Team representation.

    We offer a hybrid set up for the role, where we would expect office presence in Malm several times per week.

    The role entails travel on a monthly basis. In the course of the entire year there will be around 30 travel days across Sweden.

    Qualifications

    Our ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical thinker who communicates at a high level and has excellent stakeholder management skills that allow to provide strategic advice to the leadership team and navigate complex issues while maintaining objectivity and balance.

    We are searching for a candidate who meets the following criteria:

    • Degree in Business Administration or other relevant field
    • A few years of relevant work experience within strategy development and/or project management, ideally within an international Pharmaceutical organization
    • Expert in PowerPoint and excel and a strong user of different digital communication channels
    • Strategic and analytical skills that allow to provide input and insights
    • Ability to prioritize and work independently
    • Highest degree of business acumen
    • Fluency in English and knowledge of a Scandinavian language are important.

      About the Department

      The role sits within our office in Malm and reports directly to the General Manager of the organization. Novo Nordisk Scandinavia AB consists of around 100 dedicated colleagues, who combine their efforts to drive change and bring innovative treatments to our patients with the ambition of achieving a healthier Sweden.
