UI Designer - remote

We are currently seeking a User Interface Designer. Come join our awesome team of designers and developers working on the future of email including highly available and high-performance email messaging and engagement tracking services and dashboards, innovative email templating technology including AMP for Gmail, and newer email engagement optimization products including Email Recipient Validation and Send Time Optimization. The ideal candidate must be an energetic, organized and detail-oriented team player and will be an integral part of our growing enterprise software company.

Primary Responsibilities

Visualize concepts for sparkpost.com through wireframes, mockups, and prototypes Communicate closely with the Design Team, Marketing, Product, and Engineering Prototype, test, and oversee the development of new features for sparkpost.com and the SparkPost application Conduct user interviews and user tests Gather qualitative and quantitative data about new designs and current design Help review sparkpost.com customer feedback (analytics, surveys, and user interviews) Create user journeys Organize and document complex UX flows Present ideas to teammates and leadership Refine and polish a design to match a style guide using our design system Help brainstorm and plan upcoming features based on customer feedback and company needs Work with development to assure feature adheres to approved design throughout iterations Design, test, and iterate on all customer emails

Required Skills and Qualifications

3+ years experience (Interaction Design, User Experience Design, or Graphic Design) Sketch Adobe Products Google Suite Wireframing (Balsamiq, Illustrator, or related) Experience working within a team Experience conducting user research Good critical thinking skills Ability to take direction and give feedback HTML, CSS, Javascript experience a plus Wordpress experience a plus
