Technical Writer with SAP background - remote

The Position

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic technical writer to join our Product Management team to produce high-quality white papers, technical documentation and other digital assets that contribute to the overall success of the Neptune DX Platform. You will work closely with our development, marketing and pre-sales teams to shape, produce and roll-out content for both technical and business audiences in a variety of formats.

Responsibilities

• Working with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the DX Platform and the documentation requirements
• Creating technical content primarily targeted at technical audiences (e.g. tutorials, learning content, whitepapers and product documentation)
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and structure
• Creating and editing marketing content
• Collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to constantly improve the quality of your deliverables
• Explaining complex information in a clear and concise manner
• Writing easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides

You are a person with natural interest and curiosity to learn new technologies and who likes to take initiative. You are comfortable working both independently and in teams. You are passionate about delivering content that stands out and conveys our platform story.

Experience/competencies and education

• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Sound knowledge of and preferably experience in application development, existing know-how about SAP is a plus
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
• Experience creating social media and multimedia assets (for example blogs, how-to videos, or e-learnings)
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English and German
