What you’ll do:

The technical architect role is part of the technology leadership team and reports to the Head of Technology.

You will be responsible to:
  • Lead a tech guild of 7-9 strong backend engineers of individual modules
  • Document design and database schemas as well as preparing reports
  • Collaborate with business to understand the requirement and connect regularly with developers and quality assurance teams to deliver a stable platform
  • Ensure implementation of coding and design best practices with regular code reviews
  • Design the CI/CD pipelines and oversee the devOps
  • Hands-on debugging of critical issues
  • Recommend and implement improvements to processes and technologies
  • Mentor and train junior engineers in the team

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or similar
  • 7+ years working in a technological role with 1+ years managing 8 or more engineers.
  • Technical expertise in the following:
  • NodeJs fundamentals with NestJs framework,
  • Microservices with event driven architecture
  • Good understanding of GraphQL APIs
  • PostgresQL / MongoDB
  • Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • High accountability and an attitude of taking ownership and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a time bound environment.
  • Self-motivated, multi-tasker and demonstrated team-player along with problem-solving attitude
