// Mission
As a Tech Lead IT Administration in the IT department, you are directly responsible for building and maintaining the best IT infrastructure (Mac/Windows) enabling your colleagues to work smoothly every day. You will hire and lead your own world-class, international team of IT Administrators. Your team will be the main contact for all 1st level support cases and also take care of our office Wi-Fi, printer, and hardware setup. Together with our CTO, you will sharpen the vision of our internal IT infrastructure to ensure massive growth and scalability. On top of, you will define internal tools that allow everyone to work in the most efficient way, limiting manual workload.
// Objectives
- Hire and lead an incredible team: You are responsible to hire and lead a team of up to world-class 2 IT, administrators. You are the technical role model and make sure that the team grows and succeeds together. As a leader, you will drive individual development and team success through constructive feedback (one-on-one).
- Define the future of finn.auto IT landscape: It is your task to define and execute a roadmap for our IT infrastructure at finn.auto in all its aspects. This enables everyone at finn.auto to work trouble-free and focus on their specific areas of responsibility.
- Auto-provision everything: With our no-code platform/tool and known industry best practices (SSO) you will build an auto-provision infrastructure. This will enable even non-tech people to onboard and offboard employees in minutes. You constantly monitor these internal tools and drive improvements. On top of, you will define a winning hardware inventory management.
- Manage and drive your own projects: At finn.auto you will get responsibility from day one. All projects will have a critical impact on the whole company and directly relate to working on making finn.auto fun and sustainable. By improving day-to-day business activities and processes you will be able to overcome the shortcomings of our tools.
- Critically question and analyze: With your profound IT administration knowledge, you are responsible for building our IT infrastructure. Working jointly with our CTO, you will define requirements to bring our systems to the next level, while always seizing opportunities for automation.
// Your Profile
- Graduated top of your class with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or in a similar field from a top-tier university
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced IT environment
- Proven track record (5+ years) as an IT administrator, network administrator or system administrator in a startup environment.
- Experience in building and working with high-performance, strong cross-functional IT administrators
- You have a “never-stop-learning”attitude and a desire to develop and grow
- Strong drive toward automation and single-click provisioning using industry best practices (SSO).
- Rock-solid understanding of Mac &Windows IT environments and experience with Google Workspace or similar
- Experienced in IT Asset management systems (e.g. Snipe IT, ServiceNow)
- Skilled in LAN and Wi-Fi administration (Ubiquiti, no Cisco).
- Fluent in English, fluency in German is a plus.
