đ° Just a Slice (TL;DR)Lemonpie is a full-service podcast PR company that specializes in securing our client's guest interviews on podcasts that are already speaking to their target audience.
We're also not your standard PR firm. We guarantee our results &never, ever, take the "spray &pray" approach.
Our team is the very best at what they do and we may or may not be having a bit too much fun building this thing together.

Role:
- Primary purpose: Provide clients with timely and accurate coordination of, and preparation for, the interviews we secure for them
- Schedule: Full-time &flexible
- Location: Fully remote, live &work anywhere within the U.S.
- Time off: Unlimited PTO with a mandatory 3 weeks off per year (not included the ~15 holidays we're closed for throughout the year)

As we mentioned above, our TRC role exists to provide clients a successful Podcast Tour via timely and accurate coordination of, and preparation for, the interviews we secure for them.
Specifically, youâll help us with:
- Interview scheduling - Coordinating with podcasters and clients to schedule interviews at times that work well for each of them.
- Prep material - Ensuring our clients have the prep material needed prior to every interview.
- Project management - Keeping our project management systems up to date (Notion &HubSpot) in real-time to aid in tracking client deliverables.
- General communication - Sending clients booking emails with detailed information on the podcast weâve secured for them (size, their online presence, audience type, why the show is a good fit for their goals, etc.), following up with podcast hosts for connection/interview details when needed, providing hosts with any information they request on our client, answering any questions a client may have in regards to their interviews, etc.
- Random acts of kindness - Thinking of unique ways to surprise and delight clients and podcasters.
Qualitative:
Other people might call these soft skills, but we donât believe thereâs any such thing. Instead, we call these our People Pillars, because no one gets in without them. Theyâre not a dusty list of ânice to havesâ we keep in our metaphorical basement, only to pull them out when weâre hiring.
Theyâre part of the living, breathing organism that is our culture DNA and we donât risk negatively disrupting it. For anything. Ever.
Not for 20+ years of experience. Not for mind-blowing industry connections. Not for a proven track record of doing every last thing we do as a company with 100% success. Not even for a hand-written referral from Tim Ferris.
Nothing.
Thatâs why we place an even higher level of importance on our qualitative requirements than our quantitative (which are still very high).

Quantitative:
Must haves:
- 1+ years scheduling experience - This is the primary responsibility for our TRC role so the right fit will be experienced in (and comfy with) communicating with podcast hosts &clients to find times that work well for them, send calendar invites, and stay on top of any incoming requests or questions from both parties.
- 1+ years project management experience - Youâve been in charge of keeping at least 1 kind of project management platform (Asana, Trello, Basecamp, etc.) up to date on a daily basis. Major bonus if you have experience with Notion.
- 1+ years working with GSuite - Youâve regularly used GSuite tools. Specifically, GMail, GCal, &GDrive.
- Impeccable written &verbal communication skills - 80%+ of every role at Lemonpie involves written or verbal communication tailored to our internal brand voice (fun, friendly, informative, &always professionally upbeat) but with each team member's unique stamp on it.
- Attention to detail - We know every job posting on this side of the hemisphere states this as a necessity, but we actually mean it. Not attention to detail like you remember someoneâs name. Attention to detail like you notice if someone puts a phrase in italics in an email but missed a letter at the end thatâs still in the standard font. Yes, weâre serious.
- Internally motivated - We donât (and canât) micromanage, so if youâre someone who needs to be frequently steered in the right direction or doesnât work well autonomously, we love you but weâre just not meant to be.
- Independent thinker - You see the way something has been done but think independently enough to make it better vs. going with the flow. You come across a unique situation that you havenât been trained in yet but you can piece together other parts of training, how we handle things as a company from a high-level POV, etc. to come up with a great game plan rather than needing to ask someone how itâs always done.
- Intuitive &thorough researcher - Youâre easily able to identify the right website to add to a booking email based on how the recipient would feel receiving it, youâd never have a hard time finding a great gift based on info from someone's Instagram account, etc.
- No ego - âI donât need to be right;I need to get it rightâ aligns with your way of thinking.
- Coachable - Not just from a willingness to learn perspective, but you also take any feedback to heart and apply it right away. Weâre able to see our feedback and guidance in your work as you get up to speed &beyond.
- Growth mindset - You see consistent learning &approving as an extension of any role you serve in.
- You live in the United States.
Good to have:
- External scheduling communication - Youâve had to communicate with people, preferably clients, outside of your own company to coordinate appointments of some kind.
- Remote work experience - Youâve learned a new role primarily asynchronously, have managed your own workflow independently, donât need a call or Zoom meeting to navigate hiccups, etc.
- Basic PR knowledge - You have a general understanding of what modern PR is and what it can do for brands.
- Basic brand/business knowledge - You have a general understanding of what businesses expect from their partnering vendors, would know how to convey the ROI of a booking, etc.
- Writer at heart - If you love to make even the shortest email shine from afar prior to hitting send youâll naturally enjoy life at the pie a bit more.
- You love podcasts - Itâs kind of our thing. đ

1 month:
- Training is complete +
- Is familiar with the scheduling preferences of each client

- If interested in growing into another role within Lemonpie, theyâve met with the Head of Talent Relations &Chief People Officer for feedback/next steps
1 year:
- Everything under the 6-month indicators +
- Capable of training a new team member in the same role
- If interested in growing into a different role within Lemonpie, theyâve started shadowing the appropriate team member(s)/seeing where they could pitch in on applicable work
- Has implemented at least 2 significant improvements to the TRC role, processes, and/or client experience

- Live &work where you want - Weâve been remote from the start and have a fully distributed team, so you can live anywhere (within the U.S.) and work from anywhere your heart desires.
- Flexible schedule - As long as youâre available during core business hours and keeping full-time hours (7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 10am-6pm, etc.), you have the freedom to create a schedule thatâs optimal for you.
- Unlimited PTO - Not unlimited so you feel bad taking it, not unlimited but you have to cut through a ton of red tape to use it, and not unlimited to a certain point. Truly unlimited. We strongly believe in working to live, not living to work, and want that to show in all of our employeesâ lives. We also know that taking plenty of time away from work is crucial for our mental health, which is why we have a strict 3-week minimum time off each year in addition to the ~15 days per year weâre closed. Fun fact: Weâve never denied a time off request throughout the 6 years weâve been in business.
- Paid parental leave - Our maternity &paternity leave is fully paid for up to 18 weeks. We have a mandatory 12 weeks of paid leave for all new parents (biological or adoption) but we encourage you to take as long as youâd like up to 18 weeks.
- Remote work stipend - We add $1,200 to all of our salaries to provide our team with an extra $100/month to fuel their remote work-life (coffee when working from a coffee shop, a co-working space, more loungewear as a reminder that you never have to wear uncomfy pants again).
- Real growth opportunity - Even though weâre a small company, weâve intentionally designed our team structure to allow for internal promotion for every role, and the average time someone is with us before getting their first promotion is less than a year.

Phase 1 | Application:
Once you submit your application, you can expect to be kept up to date each week and to hear back from us regarding next steps no later than 3 weeks from the time you apply (although we aim for much faster, which youâll receive more info on after you apply).

Phase 2 | Video screening interview:
If we like your application, weâll ask you to complete a self-recorded video screening interview.
Donât worry, itâs quick &easy, done via a platform weâll direct you to so you donât have to worry about actually recording it yourself, and all the directions you could ever need are included.
You can anticipate hearing back from us within 1 week of completing a screening interview.
Time to complete: 15 minutes
Phase 3 | Test project:
If we like your screening interview, weâll ask you to complete a test project free of charge to give us a better idea of how you operate hands-on.
The work completed in said test project isnât used for anything outside of gaining perspective on your work.
We know this may seem like a big ask to some, but if doing something you feel you may be overqualified for or needing to âshow your workâ isnât for you then weâre, unfortunately, not meant to be.
And as many of our team members have said previously, we pour triple as much into a new team member's first week with us as weâd ever ask them to pour into a test project.
We donât employ, we partner. And partnership is a two-way street.
You can anticipate hearing back from us within 1 week of completing a screening interview.
Time to complete: 2-4 hours
Phase 4 | Interviews:
- 1st interview - 1.5 hours with our Chief People Officer
- Whatâs covered:
- A deep dive into previous role experience, including highs, lows, &types of teams youâve worked with
- A deep dive into our culture, as well as what you find the most important traits of any company culture to be
- Answering any questions you may have
- You can anticipate hearing back from us within 3 days

- 2nd interview - 1.5 hours with our Head of Talent Relations
- Whatâs covered:
- Getting to know one another
- An overview of each current team member &role in the Talent Relations dept
- A deep dive into what the day-to-day for a TRC looks like
- Sharing role-specific information on our tools, systems, documentation, etc.
- Answering any outstanding questions you may have
