- This role will be responsible for developing both high-level and detailed application designs and needs to understand what the "right "technologies are and be able to sell "why" they should be used.
- Partner with delivery, production support, and Shared Services partners (e.g., Quality Assurance, Infrastructure Engineering, Reference Architecture, etc.) to ensure alignment of the solution approach and estimates with each stakeholder.
- Work with business stakeholders for problem-solving, creating business capabilities, and defining technology solutions for solving business problems and enabling business capabilities.
Required Experience:
- Both application and Solutions architecture background is a plus.
- Solution architectures leveraging buy or build options, and cloud (PaaS and SaaS) solutions.
- Technical knowledge and skills that are broad and deep, covering various hardware, software, and platforms.
- NOT a hands-on development role, but must have deep experience with some and/or all: Angular, Node, other javascript libraries, full-stack development, AWS, Java, Kubernetes, Kafka, spark, MariaDB, Docker, and containerization in general.
- Comfortable working in complex heterogeneous technology environments
- Highly integrated and mission-critical solutions.
- Ability to share and communicate ideas clearly, oral &written, to business sponsors
- Digital and mobile technology areas.
- Coordinating cross-functionally including stakeholders, developing a solution architecture approach.
- Creating delivery estimates based on the solution architecture approach.
- Assessing market technology choices to determine fit, including software, hardware, SaaS/PaaS, IaaS, etc.
- Translating complex functional, technical, and business requirements into architectural designs.
