REPAY –Realtime Electronic Payments is an established and fast-growing FinTech company, building niche software that enables businesses to move faster by removing the friction found in the payments processing industry. We offer a comprehensive line of solutions including debit/credit card processing, ACH processing, instant funding, and electronic bill payment systems with full IVR, text, and mobile capabilities.

REPAY is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our team.   

What you will be doing:

  • Working along-side a product owner to help scope requirements and provide technical guidance to our Channels and Integrations teams.
  • Designing and architecting scalable and reliable systems
  • Documenting designs via architecture diagrams and design documents
  • Understanding the business requirements/stories
  • Mentoring and guiding the application development team to ensure the highest quality
  • Responsible for identifying re-usable components and ensuring design principles
  • Contributing towards reusable component creation, reference implementation and applying consistent architectural practices across the organization
  • Coordinating work with stakeholders of the team for successful delivery
  • Bringing continuous improvements to the development environment

What you’ll need:

  • Extensive experience with building web services in Python and Web front-ends w/ React.js
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following Amazon Web Services: RDS (Postgres), Elasticache (Redis), Elasticsearch, S3, DynamoDB
  • Able to work within an Agile SDLC (Kanban, Scrum, Etc.)
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
  • Experience with building highly available systems
  • A track record of success with developing modern APIs
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent experience

What we’d love you to have:

  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
  • Proven experience in architecting and designing software from initial concept to final delivery.
