We’re growing our team of passionate people who are reimagining the future of work. We're looking for a Senior Visual Designer to join our Brand Design team. You'll join 5 other designers, and will work closely with our Product, Research, Engineering, and Community teams to drive forward landing pages, microsites, launch videos, and other brand-related projects that convey the value of a platform built for independents.

How you’ll add value at Contra
  • Design and drive forward compelling marketing landing pages in Figma, collaborating closely with Engineering to ensure high quality implementation
  • Provide art direction and design support for quarterly launch videos, collaborating closely with our animation team
  • Provide art direction for external partner (freelancer &agency) brand projects, including:
  • Illustration, iconography, and 3d renders
  • Content marketing landing pages and microsites
  • Grow, maintain, and ensure consistency with our brand design guidelines
  • Continue to elevate Contra's design quality and execution
  • Mentor more junior designers with thoughtful feedback and guidance
  • Bonus: an interest in 3d and motion design

  • Deliver transparent, honest, and direct feedback to your peers on an early-stage product
  • Enjoy participating in all parts of the strategic process, not just designing
  • Are located in a timezone within 3 hours of San Francisco
  • Are fluent in verbal and written English
