We are looking for: 

Senior UX/UI Designer (Remote)

Strong experience and a proven history of success, meaning excellent skills for UX/UI design, research, wireframing, prototyping, analysis as well as strong aesthetics for pixel-perfect visual graphics and brand-aligned design style implementation throughout our design system and our core brands/products visual presence. This position is part of the UX team and reports to the UX team lead.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute on all phases of the UX/UI design process —from helping to evaluate user stories and collecting user feedback to creating user flows, lo-fi/hi-fi wireframing and prototyping, and designing highly professional visuals

  • Work with and help maintain and improve our design system

  • Maintain aesthetic coherence across the design system working to find meaningful expressions within brand guidelines and visual identity for each product

  • Create visually striking UI design, fitting the brand aesthetics and design standards while incorporating usability findings, feedback and metrics

  • Transform technical insights into informed user-centric design decisions and create complete documentation on flows and interactions

  • Provide quality assurance of all deliverables within the required design standards

  • Follow an iterative development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time

  • Perform analysis to help drive UX optimization and efficiency

  • Develop deep relationships within the organization to understand the needs and establish strong user-centric brand-aligned solutions throughout the business

  • Collaborate in cross-functional capacities with the UX, engineering, creative, and marketing teams, to build concepts, graphics and layouts for our products

  • Communicate with product and engineering teams as well as business stakeholders and executive leadership

  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise with the UX team

  • Assist in the daily duties of the UX team

  • Stay up to date with new production techniques and design trends through research and education

  • Implement feedback from leadership and partners to refine and revise work and help with improving processes

  • Manage responsibilities with little supervision

  • Organize and maintain all project assets

  • Prepare mockup images for online and mobile applications

  • Receive creative direction

  • Maintain a positive attitude while giving and receiving constructive criticism to make improvements and take appropriate corrective actions with a high level of empathy and understanding for various people, positions, and cultures

Experience

  • Experience with industry standard design software (Figma)

  • Knowledge of best UX practices

  • Knowledge of how to balance design and tactical priorities

  • Understanding of the systems development life cycle

  • Creativity and problem solving skills

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and incomplete information

  • Deadline-oriented time management and multitasking abilities

  • High attention to detail

  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources

  • Must possess a strong work ethic

  • Proficiency in macOS and Google Suite is a big plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in user experience, information architecture, product design, graphic design or equivalent required IF less than 5 years of professional working experience OR provable equivalent of real world / self-taught education

  • Working knowledge of frontend javascript frameworks is a plus

  • Experience in blockchain-related projects will be highly appreciated

  • Knowledge and basic/broad understanding of enterprise blockchain solutions, including payments and identity systems is a very big plus

This is a remote position, though we do maintain physical offices in Japan, Russia, Thailand, Cambodia, and Switzerland —which you would be welcome to stop by if you're in one of those regions. There is also the possibility of relocation to Thailand and help with the settlement process, however it doesn’t mean that office hours are required, you can still work remotely of course just as before.
