Job Description

As a Senior UI/UX designer in the atma.io team you will have a significant impact on our growing atma.io platform. You will be leading the design direction for the product features across web-based and mobile applications. As part of this role, you will collaboratively work with the product team and the engineering team to creative differentiating customer experiences and user journeys.

  • You will participate in brainstorming and concept sessions and be closely involved in the day-to-day work with the development teams
  • To explore ideas and features that are “further out”, you will facilitate design sprints and experiments with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Naturally, you will develop user experience design concepts, wireframes, mockups, clickable prototypes, usage scenarios, specifications, and other relevant design deliverables
  • Finally, we want you to be the driving force for UI/UX research and user behavior testing

Qualifications

What we expect from you - Your Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree in UI/UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction or Engineering, Digital Media, Graphic / Media Design or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of working experience as a UI/UX Designer in a design / technical team or similar environment
  • Keen design sense, understanding of typography, color theory, usability, current design trends/industry standards
  • Ability to provide rationale for design choices to help us meet business objectives
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Be comfortable in the light of uncertainty
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An insatiable appetite for design, an intrinsic curiosity, and a willingness to learn new skills
  • Strong understanding of current design patterns and guidelines for both mobile and web applications
  • Understanding of technical requirements and good working knowledge of interactivity, native mobile operating systems and the web
  • Proficiency in a design tool landscape of your choice (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Sketch, InVision, …) and the ability to work closely with front-end developers based on HTML/CSS/JavaScript artefacts
  • Proficiency in analytical tools (e.g.: Google Analytics) and deep understanding of user behavior analytics
