SENIOR SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

LOCATION: Remote;work from anywhere within the United States

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

We are looking for a senior solutions architect to help clients overcome their most difficult challenges. Our client’s business drives our solutions, which start with a thorough and strategic understanding of the client’s unique business requirements, their vision for success, and their organizational realities. The senior solutions architect will lead critical delivery efforts and will need to have both strong business and technical architectural acumen. We are looking for someone who can contribute to furthering and harmonizing our newer and legacy code bases we work in.

The national average salary for this position ranges between $125,000 and $140,000 per year;compensation may differ from this range depending on where the employee lives. Evident Change also offers a monthly stipend to support our “work from anywhere” culture as well as other great benefits, including medical coverage, that you can customize to fit your needs.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL WORKWEEK LOOK LIKE?

Get ready to:
  •  Design and architect complex, large-scale solutions in collaboration with client teams and internal project teams. 
  • Engage and lead client teams as a trusted partner and internal project teams as the owner of project vision and strategy. 
  • Create comprehensive business and technical architectures and coordinate and guide the internal project team implementing them to ensure fidelity to the proposed solution.
  • Leverage broad business and technical acumen and provide direction to the project team to ensure projects are effectively completed in compliance with project design, quality, and security standards.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into technical proofs of concept, technical requirements, and technical design elements.
  • Participate in both functional and technical design reviews to ensure traceability of the design to the proposed solution architecture.
  • Resolve architecture conflicts and escalated technical issues as necessary.
  • Mentor and coach project team in deliverables and functionality around project solutions.
 

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU NEED?

  • Eight or more years of experience in professional services solutions, SaaS product management, and software implementation efforts.
  • Proven leader, results-oriented, and self-motivated with the ability to build consensus around proposed solutions.
  • Critical thinking and complex decision making as it relates to project implications are a must.
  • Experience and knowledge of how TypeScript, Mongo, Vue, NestJS, .NET and SQL Server can all integrate with each other.
  • Experience mentoring and leading employees within a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience configuring and managing cloud infrastructure is a must;experience with Azure is strongly desired.
  • Commitment to equity, social justice, and personal and professional development in these areas.
  • Comfort working with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultural identities.
  • Experience working with Okta identity management is a plus.
