Responsibilities:
  • Focus on the backend part of our on-premise product, managing DBs
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Setting technical direction for testing Severalnines software
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Identify, record and track bugs
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
  • A great opportunity for a skilled QA engineer to self-realize through the freedom of decisions (QA strategies, tools, languages, etc.)
Requirements:
Must-have Skills and Experience:
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Solid hands-on experience in test automation and scripting
  • Linux background (administration, Bash) !
  • Solid experience with virtualization
  • Solid experience working with Continuous Integration and Delivery tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
Nice-to-have Skills and Experience:
  • Experience working with test management tools such as TestRail or similar
  • Experience with Python and/ or JavaScript, C++ is a bonus.
  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence or similar
  • Experience with Git
