This is a great opportunity to join a solid fast-growing team of networking developers in an HPC cloud platform. Your primary responsibility will be to develop software to run network simulations using the NS3 framework. You will develop dynamic polymorphism and C++ specific notions, such as friend classes and actively templating in C++. Manage the operations of network components, such as Switches, Routers, and Nics. Actively perform debuggers such as GDB, and memory checkers such as Valgrind. Work with component data sheets and specifications and implement automated testing platforms and unit tests. All in a Linux/Unix networking environment using source code management using GIT tools.
Looking for wired networking experience not wireless. Strong experience in NS3 simulations. Good understanding of RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE). RDMA over Converged Ethernet or RoCE is driving an advanced data center architecture that eliminates dedicated storage area networks and converges compute, networking, and storage traffic onto a single fabric.
