We are seeking a Senior iOS Developer to become an integral part of our team. Preferred job location is Charlotte, North Carolina;however, remote work is possible. Salary commensurate with experience. Specific requirements include:

  • 3+ years of industry experience in software engineering
  • Experience with integrating REST APIs and WebSockets
  • Experience shipping one or more iOS/iPadOS/tvOS applications
  • Intermediate- or expert-level knowledge of video streaming protocols (e.g. WebRTC, HLS)
  • Evidence of exposure to architectural patterns and scalability (e.g. well-designed APIs, object-oriented design)
  • Expert-level capabilities with Objective-C
  • Experience with Swift
  • Experience with the XCTest framework
  • Ability to work autonomously on a distributed team to collaborate with other developers to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain projects
  • Personal projects that show an aptitude and passion for engineering and product sense
  • Willingness to learn quickly and give and receive constructive feedback
  • Based in and authorized to work in the United States

Bonus:

  • Familiarity with digital streaming provider (DSP) APIs (Apple Music, Spotify)
  • Experience with the PubNub SDK
  • Exposure to Google Firebase (Analytics, A/B Testing, Remote Config, Cloud Firestore, Realtime Database)
  • Computer science education (B.S. or M.S.)
