We are looking for our React Native Expert who will help us move our native apps to react native, improve our tech stack and our release pipeline.
As React Native Engineer you drive and own the development of our mobile app to bring professional coaching to everyone, everywhere!
You join our Product and Engineering department which is organised in cross-funtional teams that own an end to end vertical of our product. Each team is 5-8 people strong and they are focusing in our of the user types (coach, coachee, company).
Join our Galactica Locura Spaceship! The team focuses on the Coachee persona (our end users) and they are currently 6 people strong including iOS, Fullstack and Backend engineers, a Product Manager, Test engineers and a Designer. They are following Kanban methodology.
You will be responsible for:
- You learn everything that is needed to improve your React Native knowledge
- You use modern JavaScript across our stack, from our Node.JS API to our React Native view layer and React-based internal tools
- You develop new features
- You release and monitor our iOS and Android apps to the store
- You collaborate closely with our founder/CPO, UX/UI designer and Product Managers to define the mobile product roadmap
- You write automated tests

Your Profile
- You have 2 years of experience using React Native or have worked on at least 3 commercial projects using it
- You have a strong understanding of modern standards-based HTML, CSS and JavaScript (ES 6-7)
- Experience with testing and debugging mobile apps, particularly React Native apps (Jest, Detox, etc.)
- You have experience with modern JavaScript and tooling
- The ability to make the product visually appealing, easy and enjoyable to use
- Passion about writing maintainable and elegant code
- Git and GitHub are your tools of choice
- You are passionate about product development and user experience
- You enjoy working autonomously and overcome challenges with a solution-focused attitude
