The KindHealth Engineering team is continuing to expand in order to tackle the challenges related to supporting and scaling our rapidly growing business. We are looking for a senior frontend engineer who is capable of taking ownership and delivering complete frontend solutions in partnership with our backend engineers. The ideal candidate will have a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, a proven track record of delivering high-quality software, experience working as part of a high-performing engineering team, and a willingness to help mentor more junior engineers on the team.
About You
- You have a minimum of six years of experience writing software
- You have experience working as a member of an engineering team
- You have worked with a development process guided by agile principles
- You have experience working with javascript frameworks such as React or Vue
- You have experience writing automated tests, debugging, and monitoring production applications
- You have integrated with internally built or 3rd party REST or GraphQL APIs
- You are a self-starter and enjoy working in more of a “startup” environment
- You are can communicate with clarity and empathy
- You work to incorporate best practices around security in your code
- Bonus: You have experience with Typescript or Nest.js
- Bonus: You have experience with DevOps pipelines (CircleCI, Heroku, AWS)
Key Duties &Responsibilities
- Write robust, reliable, and high-quality software that meets business needs
- Participate in design and architecture discussions and conversations
- Review other engineer’s work to ensure high standards of code quality
- Help maintain and monitor existing production systems and code
- Write and maintain tests and test suites to ensure quality and integrity
- Share best practices and pragmatic approaches with other engineers
- Collaborate effectively with our product team and other internal stakeholders to ensure the engineering team is delivering tangible business value
