This is a possible contract to hire position, based in Tempe, AZ and it also has the option to be remote!

Shutterfly Business Solutions (SBS) enables other large companies to connect with their customers using web-to-print software solutions. SBS Technology is responsible for delivering cutting edge software solutions developed on Innovation Core platform and manufacturing PaaS services.

We are looking for a strong Senior Frontend Engineer to build NextGen frontend Innovation Core Platform features.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years strong hands-on Frontend development experience building complex applications using JavaScript and Angular technology stack.

Responsibilities:

Hands-on development in Frontend technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular 4+, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS) working in a test-driven development environment
Ability to work independently, take ownership and deliver quality product
Participate in design and code reviews across the team to establish best practices
Research and create rapid Frontend prototypes

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript and client-side applications using JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3
4+ years hands-on experience with Angular (4 and above) SPA and JavaScript frameworks
Experience building re-usable libraries with Angular 4+ and JavaScript
Strong experience integrating with APIs and REST/SOAP web service
Strong work ethic and communication skills
Must have a positive, Can Do! Attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

Agile SDLC/Scrum/Kanban processes
Modern technologies such as DevOps/Cloud/AWS
BS/MS in Computer Science
Proven track record of delivering Frontend Software Products
