As a (Senior) Frontend Engineer –Data Visualization (m/f/div), working in the Data &Analytics team at Elinvar, you will be collaborating with data engineers and scientists to build a highly scalable data platform. You will contribute to sophisticated graphics, charts and dashboards to enhance Elinvar’s digital content.
What will keep you challenged
- Creating and designing visual content including maps, charts and graphs
- Being responsible for frontend development and design of sophisticated responsive charts and dashboards
- Defining and supporting the ongoing development and improvement of our own charting libraries
- Transforming data sets, quantitative and qualitative analysis into compelling visuals
- Providing visual, technical and editorial guidance
- Answer business questions through visualization techniques where data can provide meaningful insights
- Presenting findings to the team and non-tech stakeholders
What are we looking for
- 3+ years of experience in data visualization and frontend development
- A passion for cutting-edge frontend development technologies and smart, state-of-the-art data visualizations
- Experience in designing and implementing svg based visualizations from scratch
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, React, JavaScript and key libraries like D3
- Good communication skills, high proficiency in English, German language skills are a plus.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines
- Experience with data manipulation languages (like SQL, R, Python, etc.) would be a plus
- Experience with micro frontends architecture and atomic design pattern
