The Bravo LT Senior Cloud Engineer possesses a deep understanding of the analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of cloud environments, from the backend to the frontend. A strong foundation in computer science, the AWS ecosystem, and modern technologies are required.
Three main initiatives:
Responsibilities
- Designing, coding, testing and deploying internal and customer-facing cloud services
- Managing and deploying AWS based resources
- Translate business requirements and user stories into functional applications
- Advise on technology stacks, such as AWS Lambda, TypeScript, and REST
- Design, build, test, and maintain reusable and reliable object-oriented code, such as C and C#
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
- Identify and devise solutions to problems with functionality or performance of the applications
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field
- Five or more years of experience developing in AWS cloud environment
- Solid understanding of object-oriented software design and related patterns
- Expert in AWS Lambda
- Expert in TypeScript
- Understanding of cloud API technologies, such as REST, OAuth, JSON
- Experience using C and C#
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of clients and colleagues at a high degree of professionalism
- Able to manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications
Desired experience with:
- AWS IoT Core
- Working in a large organization/enterprise environment
