Description:

Hubstaff is looking to hire a driven SEM specialist to assist the SEO &SEM team lead with strategic planning for PPC campaigns.

This person will have a very autonomous position where they are encouraged to test out different tactics and advertising channels with the end goal of driving trials to Hubstaff and its suite of products. They will fully own Google, the app store, social media, and other ad channels. They’ll be responsible for creating targeted, converting ad copy, and building landing pages and their content. They will also create and build audiences and workflows for them in HubSpot. The SEM specialist will be data-driven, eager to optimize and scale this channel.

What You’ll Do:
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.
  • Write ad copy and build landing pages using HubSpot.
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics, pay-per-click (PPC) initiatives, and campaigns.
  • Find look-a-like segments to our best customers and target them.
  • Manage campaign expenses while staying on budget, estimating monthly costs, and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Conduct competitor ad analysis.
  • Build workflows in HubSpot

Requirements:
What We’re Looking for:
  • Proven experience developing the strategy and implementation of SEM tactics, including app stores.
  • 2+ years of SEM experience, preferably with 1+ years managing in-house (while agency work is fine, we’re looking for someone focused on the long-term strategy for one brand).
  • Analytical thinker.
  • Previous experience working on a B2B brand.
  • Experience with Adwords, app store ads, and social media.

Bonus:
  • Previous experience with a SaaS company
  • Experience working with Woopra, Segment, Google Analytics, WordPress, and HubSpot
  • Experience bidding on Capterra and other listing platforms
