Our Customer team is hiring an Account Executive in the US. You'll be selling Ring.io to our prospects in North America and you will be responsible for a quarterly new MRR target. In the process you'll be helping dozens of high performing sales teams increase their productivity and save time with new tech.
Ring.io is powerful engagement software for sales and customer-success teams. Our mission is to transform how customer-facing reps interact with customers.
Hundreds of tech, e-commerce, finance and real estate businesses sign up to try Ring.io every month. As part of the Customer team, it’ll be your job to help those trial leads understand and evaluate Ring.io. That means daily deep dives into how high performance sales teams organize their prospecting efforts. You’ll help sales execs explore new prospecting approaches and roll out more powerful sales stacks.

What you’ll be doing:
- A mix of short and long technical SaaS sales cycles, working mostly inbound leads
- Ownership of a large North American territory and the entire sales cycle — from first contact through negotiation
- Close collaboration with the founders of Ring.io and our customer success team
- The opportunity to improve your credibility as a SaaS technology expert
- Exposure to SaaS industry trends and contacts

We need someone with...
- Awesome people skills. You will be talking with multiple leads a day, team-mates or customers or vendors. If people love working with you then you’ve already won half the battle
- 2+ years of experience leading sales cycles in SaaS or a similar setting
- Experience leading discovery and product demonstrations
- Attention to detail and creative problem solving skills — you think out of the box to get the prospective customer to their intended business outcome
- Ability to understand and communicate a complex product to sales leaders
- Experience talking to and presenting to clients — strong verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills required
- Willingness to contribute to the Customer team in more than one capacity and a high-energy, get s*** done attitude
- A self-driven, motivated, and dynamic personality who is comfortable working remotely
- Nice to have: Formal sales training
- 2+ years of working remotely
- Geography: this position is only available if you live in the United States

The Nitty Gritty
- We are a 100% remote company and this is a 100% remote position. You work from wherever you live. Our expectation is that you have or will have a quiet, comfortable and well-connected spot from which you'll be available to do your work. We can help you get what you need to have an effective home office. You'll have less interaction than if you worked in an office, but less distractions too.
- Our business hours are US East Coast hours - you will need to have a large overlap of hours in your workday during those hours to meet and communicate with customers. Most of our customers are based in North America. While technically possible, it is unlikely that we would work with you if all your daytime hours are all of our customer and team member nighttime hours &vice versa.
