Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful
Experience with popular web application frameworks (Rails, Sinatra)
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
Familiarity with continuous integration
Technical skills
Strong Ruby coding skills
2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, security, and responsiveness of the applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Build, install and share gems and plugins
