Your tasks –this is what awaits you in detail
- You will help keep our online marketplace safe and help take the security to the next level
- You will work closely with development teams to help make security simple and compliance reporting straightforward for them
- You will test, build, pitch security automation for all different areas of security (e.g. security monitoring, application security, infrastructure security, staff devices)
- You will do internal security consulting with the aim to spread the “how”and “why”and not just the “what”to help them triage similar issues by themselves
- You will do security verification for software design and implementation
- You will help expand on security monitoring and work on incidents
Your profile –this is what we expect from you
- You have a flexible mind when it comes to help pick the right control from the alternatives that could achieve the same thing
- You’re able to contextualize issues, take a step back and ask how big of a problem the matter really is
- You feel comfortable working autonomously and are willing to take ownership
- You love to dive deep on technical issues
- You are familiar with taking unknown technologies and get a working knowledge of them quickly
- Ideally, you already have hands on knowledge of security monitoring, application security (with PHP, node.js), infrastructure security (with cloud or Kubernetes) and/or security automation
- You have excellent communication skills, are willing to embrace our company culture and values and enjoy working in an international, english-speaking team
