We Work Remotely
Who we are
GetYourLawyer is Switzerland’s leading marketplace for legal services. Our software is connected to an extensive network of law firms, insurance companies and legal service providers. As an intermediary, we process all payments for the services offered on our marketplace. In addition, we offer innovative legal services for fixed prices and subscriptions. Our lean and highly efficient team of around a dozen employees works in 4 countries and works agilely and with a lot of autonomy on the expansion of our business model.

What we are looking for
For the transformation from mostly manual testing to a highly automated and efficient QA process, we are looking for a person to take the lead responsibility for quality assurance of our software in the role of:

QA Manager / Test Automation Engineer

What to expect
As part of our development team, you will be responsible for all stages of testing. Starting with the documentation of relevant processes, you will become the leading expert of our software. You will conduct low-level acceptance tests, manual testing, integration tests and regression tests. With a steadily growing part of your workload, you will write automated end-to-end tests and hereby play a key role in improving the quality of our software.

Our current tests are:
  • Managed in TestRail
  • Based on Gherkin features
  • Backed by Python (behave)
  • Automated with Selenium

If you have experience in a different technology stack, we encourage you to apply anyway. We are open to change and eager to hear your suggestions.

Our platform runs on Google Cloud in Kubernetes and is based on PHP8, Laravel, MySQL, Vue.js and a variety of other technologies. We work with Jira and Bitbucket in a Kanban system. You don’t need to know PHP, but a basic understanding as well as knowledge of relational databases would be a plus.

Your abilities
  • Multiple years of experience in testing web applications
  • Advanced skills in test automation
  • Knowledge of test management tools and best practices
  • Experience in working with Selenium, Cypress or similar
  • A good eye for UI/UX details
  • Knowledge of a relevant programming language
  • You are business fluent in English.
  • You solve problems independently, work carefully, organized and precisely.

Your advantages
  • Work remotely: Live where you are happiest.
  • Retreats: Join us on international company retreats.
  • Professional development: We support continued learning.
  • Time off: You'll be required to have 5 weeks of paid holiday per year.
  • Technology: BYOD - use whatever device you feel comfortable with.
  • Part-time: Decide by yourself if you want to work full-time or part-time.
  • Environment: We aren't a large enterprise - work with people instead of a system.
  • Flexibility: For us, it's the results that count, not the way to get there.

Even though this is a remote position, your regular working day must have an overlap of 4 hours or more with CET (UTC+1) from Monday to Friday

We're looking forward to receiving your application by clicking on the button “Apply for this position”.
