About The Role
The Junior Project Manager will support our Project Managers, who are the primary points of contact for our clients and the liaison between our clients and internal team members or contractors. The Junior PM will be responsible for the end-to-end communication, from start to finish, ensuring projects stay on schedule and on budget. They will also be expected to follow processes and complete tasks within Shopify and third-party applications. This is a contract-to-hire position for the first 3 months.

A day in the life:
- Assisting Project Managers to account for the completion of all client-related tasks
- Monitor and facilitate communication between all parties involved on any given project
- Plan, manage, and adjust project timelines
- Creating Statements of Work and other documents
- Onboarding new clients
- Attending meetings with both clients and team, taking notes, and executing post-launch follow-ups
- Researching solutions for clients and management team
- Integrating and setting up third-party apps
- Following processes to execute production work within Shopify or Third-Party Apps
- Act as a knowledge base for clients and team, clearly breaking down complex concepts or directing them to the resources to address their needs or concerns
- Ensure projects are staying on track and within budget, communicating regularly with internal team members and the client;escalate issues or red flags
- Execute client requests and tasks to move a project forward that do not require design or development

- Have experience in the Shopify ecosystem
- Are able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Are an eager learner, willing to acquire new skills and apply them
- Are able to follow processes and procedures
- Enjoy finding new opportunities to improve workflows and processes
- Are detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Thrive and self-manage effectively in a remote work environment
- Can understand and untangle technical jargon and learn new technology quickly
- Are not afraid to tell a joke (even if it’s a bad one)
- Have a communication style that’s fun and approachable
- Are able to assert yourself to reaffirm our processes (be kind, but don’t be a pushover!)
You’ll get bonus points if you:
- Have prior agency experience
- Have experience in a client-facing role
- Have an interest or basic understanding of Design and/or Development
