About the Team

The Parks team is establishing and scaling AllTrails’ business partnerships with land management agencies across the globe. The Program Manager, Parks position is an exciting opportunity to build and grow a program that’s empowering public land managers. The Program Manager will function as a connector within AllTrails, managing critical partner relationships externally while working internally and cross functionally to gather data, analyze the findings, and communicate learnings and recommendations to enhance the program performance. The role reports to the Head of Parks Partnerships. The right candidate brings program management and data experience. Above all, this person is inspired by empowering public land managers to reach and engage with their visitors, ultimately in order to help consumers have better outdoor experiences through Alltrails.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Building and implementing scalable processes
  • Collaborating cross functionally to ensure data quality and accuracy, while developing solutions for simplifying the data into simple recommendations
  • Learning and working with internal facing tools, specifically around mapping tools
  • Connecting with and building relationships with land managers
  • Communicating with multiple stakeholders and understanding different perspectives in order to drive program growth
  • Managing key dashboards, noticing trends/changes and flagging the impact of the changes to stakeholders in collaboration with partner management

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of program and/or partner management
  • Strong strategic thinking, with an innate ability to synthesize complex, unstructured information from a variety of sources into actionable, implementable recommendations
  • Experience working within a land management agency (or related position)
  • Proven track record of collaborating cross-functionally, achieving measurable success, and thriving in a team environment
  • Empathy, open-mindedness, and humility
  • Comfort with ambiguity and self-directed
  • Passion for the outdoors

Bonus Points:

  • Subject matter expertise in land management and with how agencies operate

The estimated base compensation pay range for this role is 75-100k annually. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on various factors such as skills, experience, training and credentials, as well as other business purposes or needs.  It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range of their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors and circumstances of each case.
