Core Responsibilities:
- Coaching, growing, an leading our product engineering team of 7 to multiple teams (est. 15-25 engineers) over the next few years
- Ensuring on time execution and smooth delivery of new features and enhancements by our product, engineering, and design team
- Managing and maintaining our SOC2 security program, technology policies and procedures, and technical incident response
- Contract review and security audits for new and existing customers
- Financial reporting and planning for the product engineering organization (mapping infrastructure COGS, headcount, and software P&L)
- Collaborating with VP of Product and VP of R&D in defining the product and technology strategies for Truepic
You will succeed in this role if you:
- Have prior experience building and managing technical teams in a trio (product / design / engineering ) type org structure
- Have prior experience owning or delivering products that meet enterprise compliance and security standards (SOC2, ISO 27001, SSAE, FedRamp)
- Have prior remote work &management experience
- Have prior startup experience
What we’re NOT looking for:
- Purely hands-off managers - as a startup, we have to wear many hats and this role is often called upon to fill in the gaps where needed
