We Work Remotely
Real Vision helps people understand the complex world of finance, business, and the global economy with real in-depth analysis by real experts through the power of its community.

The company is on a mission to democratize the very best financial intelligence for all and become the one place where everyone lives their financial lives.

This enhanced platform will offer members different learning journeys that put them in control of their finances. Members will be able to watch videos, listen to podcasts, monitor market prices, analyze markets and economies, do technical analysis, create watch lists, read and publish research, monitor their portfolios, execute trades across both Tradfi and Crypto, and contribute to a thriving hive mind community.

To help us get there, we are looking for a Product Designer to create an elegant and intuitive interface for our software platform. In this role, you’ll be laser-focused on visual interface design – shaping the atoms, molecules, organisms, templates, and pages that our members will interact with across mobile and desktop. You will work alongside a cross-functional, fully remote team of Visionaries including researchers, product leads, engineers, marketers, and other designers to create pixel-perfect UI that our members will love.

What You Will Do:

  • Apply your deep understanding of layout, color, typography, UI patterns, and accessibility to the work
  • Rapidly produce multiple concepts - knowing how to mentally switch from making lo-fi sketches to higher fidelity mockups
  • Work collaboratively with product and engineering teams to deliver the overall product and/or feature vision
  • Create lo-fi prototypes when needed for user research and testing
  • Participate in user research and testing to ensure product usability and consistency
  • Work with other designers and front-end developers to developer higher-fidelity prototypes that properly capture the intended interactions and animated series that annotated artifacts simply cannot
  • Package, spec, and prep final pixel-perfect UI designs for development
  • Obsessively QA developed software for visual perfection and help provide detailed feedback to product and engineering teams
  • Maintain design systems and libraries in conjunction with the broader design team to ensure product-wide visual consistency
  • Socialize your work with diverse audiences through mockups, storyboards, prototypes, and presentations - tapping into the right tools in your toolbox as needed
  • Inspire the entire team by bringing new ideas to the table with stunning visualizations that communicate the vision

Who You Are:

  • You have 5+ years of experience designing delightful consumer-facing user interfaces
  • You have shaped digital experiences for different personas and their respective user journeys
  • You have shipped digital products with a mix of features developed (a.) in-house and (b.) by 3rd-parties (i.e., lots of integration experience)
  • You have worked across a diverse ecosystem of websites (desktop, mobile), native mobile apps (iOS, Android), OTT apps (AppleTV, AndroidTV, etc.), in-vehicle apps (CarPlay, Android Auto), and complex desktop apps (MacOS, Windows, Linux)
  • You have been inside companies or agencies where speed, agility, and shipping features mattered
  • You have startup and/or early growth stage experience
  • You have worked with diverse cross-functional groups that go beyond typical agile software teams
  • You are familiar with agile product development processes... and understand when to deviate from what's prescribed based on what makes sense for the business
  • You are biased toward action and execution. In fact, you get nervous if you’re not sketching concepts, prototyping ideas, or polishing pixel-perfect mockups
  • You believe in designing mobile-first and progressively enhancing from there
  • You are wired to find solutions, take action, and get concepts out in the wild
  • You value collaboration, are open to feedback and design critiques
  • You are highly organized from the way you structure your time all the way down to how you structure your files
  • You have a growth mindset
  • You communicate ideas concisely and clearly
  • Ideally, you are (or have been) a Real Vision subscriber or member
  • You have a strong portfolio that shows how you've made complex digital products dead simple to use
  • Mastery of Figma
