About you

Our ideal candidate is a Product Designer with experience at least one fast-growing start-up or eCommerce brand. You'll understand customers and their behaviour deeply;empathising with their problems, and creating solutions that solve them effortlessly.

You'll be aware of commercial opportunities for the business but you'll be most at home solving tricky problems for customers;digging through qualitative insights that you or the team have gathered, analysing quantitive data, and pulling it all together with your own experience and sharp intuition to create well-considered and beautifully executed digital products.

Having cut your teeth in more junior roles in product/design team(s), you'll be ready to step up to the next level, taking more responsibility for designing solutions from end-to-end.

Working closely with our CPO/Designer co-founder, Product Manager and engineering team, you'll prototype, test and iterate your way to best-in-class solutions.

You'll be comfortable working with engineers to deliver high-quality products - communicating your ideas clearly, and reviewing pull requests to make sure your vision is perfectly executed. Having the HTML/CSS/JS skills to build prototypes and front-end elements is a bonus.

A burning desire to change the world for the better is vital. Our mission tackles one of the biggest environmental challenges of our time, and you'll be deeply motivated by solving it.

Great communication skills with excellent conversational written English to explain your ideas and your rationale is a must. Candidates who are thoughtful, self-motivated, know when to ask questions or for help, challenge assumptions, are comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback, and are open to learning will enjoy our team dynamic.

Come and help create the antidote to boring supermarket shopping, redesigned from the ground up to delight customers who are sick of aisles and aisles of plastic-filled shelves.

Team

We’re a growing, values-driven, cross-functional team comprised of Product, Engineering, Ops, Marketing, Finance, Buying, and Customer support.

You'll report directly into our CPO/Co-founder and lead the design for a small cross-functional product squad.

We work collaboratively to build consensus amongst the team to prioritise and create solutions that tackle the biggest problems the business faces at any time.

We value

  • Honest and open communication
  • Positive entrepreneurial approach: ambitious, tenacious, and pragmatic
  • Thoughtful and thorough delivery of exceptionally high-quality work
  • A big interest in the mission of the business
