The role:
Product designers at Even explore the financial journeys of our members to build a product that positively affects financial health. You are inherently curious about learning new things. You care deeply about quality user experience, and have a track record of shipping highly functional products. You have the need to boil down complicated problems into well crafted solutions. You want to work with a fast moving team of like minded designers, product managers and engineers.
What you'll do:
- Develop design strategies to ensure that the product is valuable to customers and members now and in the future.
- Craft your ideas into visual artifacts that encourage forward movement, and ultimately make their way into the product.
- Work with like minded designers, engineers and product leadership to build something you can be proud of.
- Cultivate a deep knowledge of Even’s design system and patterns, and contribute to its evolution.
- Discover and make sense of member stories, bring them to life and couple them with the appropriate product strategies.
- Contribute to a highly collaborative design culture. Everyone gets better together.
What you'll need:
- 5+ years of experience working in product design, user experience, or a relevant design field.
Have a natural curiosity to uncover unique insights that will drive your design decisions. - To be energized by hairy, complex problems that you can shape into simple solutions that are natural and honest.
- A desire to keep growing your skills, and an ability to learn quickly.
- Understanding of how to operate in the unknown. Even is a growing company that doesn’t have it all figured out just yet. You’ll be successful here if you thrive in environments where the directions aren’t laid out for you.
