Position: Full Stack Developer (Ruby + React stack) - remote

Intro

Startupz is hiring a Full Stack Developer to help us build and maintain the apps at our different startups. If you like a dynamic work situation and working on the cutting edge in your code, this is the job for you!

We are accepting applications for the next two months and we fill the open position as soon as we’ve found the right candidate.

About the Position

Full Stack Developer

You’ll be joining our team in building our apps and pushing the bar by building new features.

We typically use a Ruby(-on-Rails), React stack that we host on AWS. We like well-structured light-weight code that’s easy to understand and to work with.

We have a clearly defined product development process and work from detailed interaction designs.

During the daily standups we share our progress and discuss next tasks. It’s also a great moment for sharing knowledge and challenges.

You have a lot of autonomy with regards to deciding what the best solution is for the tasks you work on.

 and then build teams to scale them into companies.

We are remote-first and have a central office in The Hague.

Skills

• You have experience working with Ruby-on-Rails
• You have a good sense of React
• You are crazy about building beautiful and intuitive interfaces and solid scalable backend
• You are driven and enthusiastic
• Your communication skills in English are proficient
• You are comfortable to adapt and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Experience

• Experience with Ruby, Python or Node.js
