At Olo we develop an online food ordering platform used by many of the country's largest restaurant chains, reaching millions of consumers. Chances are if you've ordered directly from a restaurant brand's app or website, we've made that happen. We’re looking for Summer interns to join our Platform Operations team for a 10 week paid internship from June 3rd - August 13th, 2021. As a Summer intern, you will receive mentoring from the team at Olo, and experience being part of a smart, passionate team dedicated to delivering products using modern tools and technologies. We aim to deeply collaborate and communicate well. We encourage new ideas and experimentation. We take pride in a neat codebase with automated tests and continuous integration, and encourage constant refactoring. The Platform team is a development group, so interns will not be writing code or be part of a development team. The group is operations-focused, which means they support other teams with requests for infrastructure, environment changes for both production and lower environments, working closely with Dev and infrastructure teams. If you are outside of the NYC area, the internship will take place remotely. The Olo NYC Headquarters will be closed for the foreseeable future because of the global outbreak of COVID-19. If the office opens and you are in the NYC area, you can choose to work remotely, from our office, or we can arrange for a flexible work schedule!

What We'll Expect From You

  • A passion for computing that extends beyond your studies
  • Currently enrolled in a 4 year academic institution
  • Significant coursework in Computer Science (major not required)
  • Interest in supporting Engineering teams
  • Ability to express yourself well in written and verbal communication
