We are seeking a dedicated Observability Engineer with specialized experience in OpenTelemetry frameworks and google cloud This role is ideal for someone who excels in monitoring and observability within Google Cloud Platform environments and has a strong background in implementing OpenTelemetry solutions. The candidate should be adept at working remotely, showcasing exceptional communication abilities, and possess the skills to innovatively and independently address intricate challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage observability and monitoring solutions on the GCP, leveraging OpenTelemetry frameworks.
  • Build monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and performance of applications and services in the cloud.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate observability tools and practices into the development lifecycle.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and troubleshooting of complex system issues using observability tools.
  • Develop custom instrumentation, metrics, and logs to enhance monitoring capabilities.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in GCP observability and OpenTelemetry.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in implementing and managing observability tools on GCP, with a focus on OpenTelemetry frameworks.
  • Terraform Experience
  • Kubernetes and GKE experience
  • Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures, particularly within the Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience in scripting and automation for integrating observability tools in cloud environments.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in a cloud context.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues using monitoring and observability tools.
  • Proven track record of enhancing system performance and reliability through effective observability.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in GCP , observability or a related field.
  • Google Associate Cloud Engineer Certification or other Google Cloud Professional level certification
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing OpenTelemetry solutions.
  • Experience in cloud-based monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Technical degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
