The Role

We’re looking for a seasoned Amazon Marketing Director who has a proven track record for successfully launching new products on Amazon.com. You will develop and manage SparkPod’s promotion and advertising campaigns to gain maximum market share on the Amazon platform. This includes the creation of ads, testing ads for performance as well as launching and overseeing broad campaigns. Promotional channels include Amazon advertising, Social Media, email, printed product collateral, and PR including Influencer outreach. We’re looking for someone who’s got a very fine eye for detail and loves to identify ways to improve structure, systems, and processes. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to make your mark and drive tangible results for the organization. You’ll have access to exclusive state-of-the-art marketing strategies that have helped us make millions in sales.

Here’s what you’ll do:
  • Lead the development of marketing plans by working closely with the marketing team in coordination with R&D, Operations and Finance teams, to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy
  • Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of all marketing initiatives, including implementation, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly
  • Hold regular meetings with Launch &Brand Manager/s to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions, and provide ongoing training to ensure team consistently performs above standard
  • Identifying new tools – AI, digital, CRM – that can support, enhance and improve our solutions
  • Plan deals and promotions, conduct ongoing sales and marketing analysis, implement strategies by plotting targets and KPIs, and execute plans accordingly
  • Conduct various testing methods in design, layout, and advertising techniques in order to gain the most organic and paid traffic
  • Set, plan and supervise social media and communication campaigns and strategies
  • Coordinate with the Graphic Design team and External Marketing Specialist for creating and managing promotional collateral to establish and maintain product branding
  • Audit websites and storefronts to ensure images and information are correct
Requirements / Who are you?
  • 2-3 years of direct experience with Amazon.com
  • A proven track record of successfully launching new products on Amazon.com
  • Experience with digital marketing and online sale
  • Experience and working knowledge in content marketing, content growth and SEO
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (Manychat, Landbot.io, etc)
  • Adaptable and flexible;responsive and resourceful in a fast-paced business model
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, copywriting skills are a plus
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity
