Lead Developer/CTO at Cloud Infrastructure Start-Up - London –£70k-£90k + equity

A London start-up focused on the automation of cloud infrastructure setup is looking for a Lead Developer/CTO with Java/Kotlin experience.

Reporting directly into the CEO and as an early employee you will have full ownership of the architecture, design and strategy of the software development business unit, and the role will grow into a CTO position within 6-9 months.

They are close to going live, have 10 clients signed up and ready to go and are planning to launch in October 2020.

 The product is a web platform that integrates with Cloud/DevOps platforms/tooling such as AWS, Azure and GCP in one central hub allowing Developers to build, test and deploy infrastructure on the cloud with 0% coding required and no prior cloud knowledge.

This will enable start-ups/SMEs to leverage their existing in-house software/app development team without the need of hiring external and dedicated Cloud and DevOps experts.

The Ideal Candidate:

•  ~10 years of programming experience
• Angular 7 / TypeScript
• Java / Kotlin
• PostgreSQL
• Data Structure &Algorithm experience, ideally AI/ML experience
• Cloud Computing fundamentals
• Terraform/Infrastructure-as-Code best-practices
• Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Kubernetes YAML as code
• Serverless/Microservices
• Docker Bash/Python API frameworks
• CI/CD (Git hooks)

The successful candidate will know or at least have a solid knowledge of the above tech and display a passion for proper agile processes and of course working in a fast-paced start-up environment.

This will be 100% remote until the world resumes normality, after which it is London based.
