Huxley Associates are assisting a fast growing FinTech start-up in their search for a Lead Cloud Security Architect. You will help build, monitor, and maintain their security infrastructure through the use of security tooling and process solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams across company to ensure security best practices are leveraged as we roll out new features and expand our platform offerings
- Build, monitor, and maintain their security infrastructure through the use of security tooling and process solutions
- Ensure data security and integrity across all cloud and on-prem platforms and evolving the firm's security program
- Hands-on security experience with Google Cloud ecosystem, Linux based infrastructures, and administration of GCP
- Managing WAF's, load balancers, and firewalls
- Experience with open-source software and cloud services
- Perform penetration testing against infrastructure, applications, and platform
- Deploy endpoint security solutions, evaluate risks in the cloud infrastructure and mitigate accordingly, participate in investigations, develop and maintain documentation for procedures, events, and tooling
Qualifications
- Experience in a security focused engineering role and strong understanding of security challenges in large-scale systems and service architectures
- Expertise in Google Cloud Security, IAM, GCP SCC, etc.
- Experience in FinTech industry and working with security models, cloud security architecture and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of security risks as they apply to cloud solutions, data protection, network segregation, and infrastructure management
