Your passion / Your job

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency custom solutions for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance
• Complete applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities;contributing to team
• Utilize the latest technology and programming techniques to realize the full capacity of OX
• Ensure designs are complete and in compliance with specifications
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies
• Analysis of technical problems and communication with our customers in cooperation with our support team
• Must be very organized with a strong ability to complete work in an environment with multiple daily interruptions. Able to multi-task. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
• Support of our Sales-Engineering Team in technical questions for customer requests
• Strong Customer relationships and service deliveries are part of your daily work

What do you bring to the table

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Proven hands-on Software Development experience
• Proven working experience in Java development
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL (MySQL, Galera)
• Experience re-factoring existing code to improve readability, code reuse, performance, and maintainability
• Experience in developing web applications
• Fundamental knowledge of using the OSGi framework, LDAP and Unix-/Linux based applications
• Good understanding of revision control systems (eg. GIT or SVN)
• A bonus would be: Experience constructing RESTful endpoints for UI consumption and knowledge of Linux and Internet Services like Apache
• Good organizational skills and a proven ability to work as a member of a team and individually
• Strong customer focused, team oriented communication skills with emphasis on IT Infrastructure and software development.
• Communication skills that allow you to inform, help and advise customers clearly and to liaise effectively with other professionals listening skills, to understand exactly what customers require
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
