Information Systems Security Manager - ISSO

A top security consulting firm is looking for an Information Systems Security Manager for their team. This is a direct-hire role and can sit fully remote. This person will be responsible for supporting server and systems security. This role will not have direct reports but will function as an individual contributor managing systems security.

Responsibilities:

• Advise senior management on risk levels and security posture.
• Acquire necessary resources (security staff, leadership support, and financial resources) to achieve cybersecurity goals and reduce organizational risk.
• Evaluate current security posture of servers and systems and develop an actionable plan for improvement.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, POA&M creation and remediation, contingency plan testing, and continuous systems monitoring.

Qualifications:

• 5 years' working experience in Cyber and Information Security
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security and Splunk Search Processing Language
• Broad understanding of other security technologies and processes including vulnerability scanners, log analysis, threat hunting, incident response, risk assessments, etc.
