At Nearcut and Book in Beautiful (one company, two brands), we exist to help our clients build and grow their businesses, giving barbers and hairdressers time back to do what they love. We’re a close knit, autonomous team of self-starters who support each other to build amazing tech to empower our customers.
The role
We are looking for a growth marketer who is both creative and analytical, to take responsibility for executing our marketing strategy. You will be the sole full-time marketer in the team, so this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn a lot while being both strategic and hands-on day-to-day.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be working closely with product, design, customer service, sales and development to solve tough problems and deliver a multi-channel marketing strategy across 3-4 key geos:
- Taking charge of running experiments in new and existing acquisition channels to attract new clients
- Creating and executing campaigns that convert, then analysing and replicating what works
- Turning customer insights into compelling stories for email, social, video and ad campaigns
- Using performance data to make informed strategic decisions and communicating them clearly
- Listening to clients and developing a deep understanding of our different personas to align their needs with business goals
- Leveraging power users, ambassadors and influencers to help build our brand in a competitive market
Your experience
Essential
- You have proven experience in growth marketing (or similar roles in product or marketing)
- You’re a talented copywriter, content marketer, and overall storyteller
- You’ve designed experiments such as A/B tests with a proven track record of success
- You’re a whizz at crafting content for website conversion pages, email onboarding and upselling, and other creative assets (social media ads etc).
- You’re adept at analysing data through Excel/Google Sheets and other tools (we use Posthog) using marketing, product, and/or customer data
- You have a strong sense of visual and UX design
- You have experience briefing and working directly with product and design teams
- You understand short-form video as a content medium
- You have a basic understanding of SEO
- You’re comfortable with ad platforms such as Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads
Nice-to-have
- Proven experience in B2B SaaS growth marketing
- You’re familiar with SaaS economics such as LTV, CAC, payback period, etc.
- Fluent in English. French, German or Spanish is a plus.

- An annual salary of between £45,000 - £55,000
